Have you ever spent a vacation in a pigeon house? That’s what I suggest!
This studio is located in an old barn, which we have transformed, after long and painstaking work, into an original vacation home on two levels. On the first floor you will find the living room and the kitchen. A wooden staircase leads to the mezzanine where the double bed is installed.
The house overlooks our garden, a natural garden where you can relax. Enjoy the quietness in the shade of an old fig tree with a glass of fresh rosé wine accompanied by olives and other delicacies that you will have found on the Provencal markets in the morning…
The price indicated includes sheets, towels and cleaning at the end of your stay. However, please leave the apartment in a clean and tidy condition when you leave.
Generally, you can park your car right at the entrance of the apartment. Parking is available in the garden, and other parking spaces are located in front of the gate or in the village.
Saint-Laurent des Arbres is an excellent starting point for visiting Provence and the surrounding areas. Orange, Avignon, Nîmes and Arles, the jewels of Provence, are just a half-hour’s drive away – and these are just a few of the countless sites and sights available to tourists!
Away from the main tourist routes, the narrow and winding roads through the attractive landscapes of lavender fields and olive groves and through the small Provencal villages can be enjoyed with the greatest of pleasure.
And then there is the Mediterranean Sea – there are few swimming days without sun!
The highest mountain of Provence, the Mont Ventoux with its 2000 meters of altitude, is an interesting place for nature lovers, botanists, hikers, but also for bikers, because the summit is reached by a very well equipped road. The whole region is also very suitable for motorcycle and bicycle tourism.
At the beginning of your stay, don’t forget to go to the Tourist Office. There you will get a lot of tourist information about the region.
During your excursions in the region, you will not miss the opportunity to do tastings and to enrich your cellar with the best wines!
