Emilie Menard-Linnenbank, soprano, René Linnenbank, bass, and Michel Chanard on the organ
Since 1979, Michel Chanard has been the titular organist of the Great Organ at Saint Jean-Baptiste Church in
Bagnols, and since 2012 at the Church of the Holy Martyrs in Marrakech, Morocco. He
specialises in accompanying soloists and various
orchestral and vocal ensembles from the region on the organ and piano. Also a composer and arranger,
and a member of SACEM since 2012, his works are published by Fortin-Armiane in Paris.
His Magnificat for solo soprano, mixed choir, two pianos and timpani was premiered in October
2025 in Nîmes.
