Concert: Alain Chamfort – “The Best of Myself”

The timeless pop dandy Alain Chamfort has conceived a special event for his audience: a show featuring the greatest hits of his career, during which he will take part in a live interview.

On stage, accompanied by his pianist and longtime collaborator, the Franco-American singer and host Valli, he’ll share anecdotes and highlights from his professional life: his early days as a musician, notably alongside Jacques Dutronc; his debut as a singer with Claude François; his years with Gainsbourg, with whom he recorded three albums; the creation of his hit songs; the encounters that shaped his life; the successes and setbacks… Everything that makes life worth living.

Between personal reflections and piano performances, this intimate and unique encounter will shine a light on songs from Chamfort’s repertoire (Manureva, Bambou, Chasseur d’Ivoire, *Traces de toi*, *La Fièvre dans le sang*, *Clara veut la Lune*…) as well as other lesser-known gems that dot his rich and precious discography.
